Based in Connecticut, Earl Glusac began working in watercolor in 1989, adding acrylics in 2000 and alcohol inks and the use of yupo paper (non-adsorbent) in 2023. He often employs untraditional paint applicators.

His abstract paintings emphasize color, texture and intuitive composition.
